I came across this hotel via tripadvisor with good reviews. And indeed, their service was of a boutique- simple and complete. Let me apologize first though, I wasn’t able to take photos of the hostel.
We arrived at the hotel at around 11PM, tired from our 6-hour bus ride from Ho Chi Minh. Much to our horror, we realized we didn’t have small bills with us to pay for our tuktuk ride to the hotel. Thankfully, when we arrived at our hotel, the receptionist was very kind to assist us of our dilemma.
Hotel Service
The hotel service was really good. They had a lot of things to offer to the tourists like walking tours, bike tours, bus tours, tuktuk contacts, and tickets to everything. We were able to book our bus tour to S-21 and killing fields at $25 for two, as well as our tickets on a sleeper bus to Siem Reap at $15 each. Everything was in there, from computers to Phnom Penh guides to hair blowers.
Ammenities
This hostel has a mini-bar where you can order drinks and food. We haven’t tried it but it looked like a great way to meet fellow tourists. There’s also a common room for tourists to chill, complete with a guitar and tambourine! If you don’t like shared bathrooms, then this place is not for you.
The Room
We stayed in a double room, which was smaller than what we expected. The bed was comfortable enough, though the pillows would always slide down the bed when we lay our heads on it. There’s also a small table for things and a big flast screen TV. It was also a very good thing that our room was just across the bathroom.
The Location
The location is not so good, very far from restaurants and bars.
Overall, the hostel was good, giving them 5 stars for their service. But only 3 stars for its location and accesibility.
